THE EVENT
On November 11th at 11:11am, Reiki practitioners and energy healers around the world will gather — each in their own time zone — for a global relay of healing.
Beginning in Japan and continuing across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, this wave of Reiki energy will circle the Earth as each region takes part in their own 30-minute session.
Each group begins with a moment of silence, honoring those who have known conflict and loss.
From that stillness, we send Reiki to our shared home — Earth — and to every living being upon it.
Wherever you are, you are invited to join.
Together, we let Reiki flow — heart to heart, place to place.
whY NOVEMBER 11TH
In many parts of the world, November 11th at 11:11am marks a moment of remembrance — a quiet pause to honour the end of war and to reflect on peace.
We begin from that same silence, and allow it to blossom into healing.
Rather than ending with stillness, we begin from it — extending its energy outward to the Earth and all who dwell here.
This is our shared prayer for harmony:
that remembrance may become renewal,
and silence may become light.
ABOUT NAGOMI
The heart of this event is expressed through the Japanese word Nagomi (和).
Nagomi means gentle calmness of the heart, balance, and harmony born from connection.
While “peace” can sometimes sound formal or distant, Nagomi begins within — a soft stillness that arises when our hearts return to balance.
From that inner state, harmony naturally flows outward — into our homes, our relationships, our communities, and our world.
Through Reiki, we remember that global peace begins with inner peace.
When one heart becomes calm, the world becomes a little gentler.
PURPOSE
This year marks over a century since Usui Reiki was first practiced in Japan.
As we enter the next hundred years, we wish to carry Reiki’s light forward — not only through healing, but through unity and shared intention.
The purpose of Reiki for Peace is simple yet profound:
to share a moment of healing with people around the world under the theme of Peace,
to let the energy of connection, tranquility, and harmony flow gently across the Earth,
and to create an experience of unity — where hearts connect beyond countries and languages, through Reiki.
HOW TO JOIN
There are several ways to take part:
🕙 Join a Live Stream
Three livestreams will take place — each beginning at 11:00am local time and ending at 11:30am.
You can join from anywhere through our YouTube channel.
🇯🇵 Japan: 11:00–11:30am JST
🇮🇳 India: 11:00–11:30am IST
🇨🇦 Canada (Toronto): 11:00–11:30am EST
🌿 Participate from Wherever You Are
If you cannot join the live stream, you can still take part.
Simply take a moment at 11:11am in your own time zone to send Reiki to the Earth, or join at another region’s time.
You may also host your own small Reiki for Peace Circle with friends, students, or your Reiki community.

The Reiki for Peace initiative is a collaboration across continents —
a circle of hearts joined through the Japan Reiki Association Overseas Chapters and many dedicated Reiki teachers around the world.
Each Shihan and community adds their own light to this wave of healing.
Together, we share one intention: to let the spirit of Nagomi (和) — gentle calmness and harmony — flow across the Earth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need Reiki experience to join?
Not at all. Everyone is welcome — whether you are a Reiki practitioner or simply wish to send love and healing to the Earth.
Can I bring a friend who’s new to Reiki?
Yes, please do. This gathering is open to all hearts. You can even share the YouTube link so they can join from wherever they are.
Will there be hands-on healing?
No. This event focuses on distance healing — sending energy collectively to the Earth and all beings.
However if you are joining a local event, there may be additional activities planned. Please check with your organizer.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, a calm space, and an open heart. You may wish to have water, a candle, or crystal nearby — but it’s optional.
Where is the event held?
Livestream at 11 am in three different time zones. You can join online or participate quietly from your own space.
